Position: Operations Support Specialist
Position ID: # 3662
Location: Monterey Park, CA
Duration: 8 Months +
Responsibilities:
Performs daily Change Management activities under the direction of Change Manager and/or team lead:- Assesses Change Orders – verifies compliance with the Change Management Process- Interacts with clients to provide guidance on process procedures- Applies requested date updates- Performs daily review of authorized Change Orders – take appropriate action to assure progression through Change Lifecycle - Completes additional activities identified and assigned by Change Manager.
Required Skills:
Five or more years of experience in Information Technology with an emphasis on Change Management administration. –
· Knowledge of ITIL Change Management methodology and general understanding of Incident and Configuration Management Processes.
· ITIL V3 certification desirable.-
· Experience in one or more IT disciplines such as: Applications, Communications, Database, Data Center Operations, Network, Production Support, Server.
· Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office suite; MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
· Must be able to convey process information verbally and compose communications in a clear concise manner for both technical and non-technical audience.
· Must be able effectively interact with others and work in a team environment.
· Skilled in organizing, planning, prioritizing, controlling, coordinating individual activities.
