Must-haves
5+ years ETL design
Data modeling and data warehousing experience
SQL
Knowledge of STM (source-to-target mapping)

Role
Duties will include serving as a technical lead for development of database structures and ETL design for data supporting business unit reporting. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining data mart that produces Business Objects reporting, as well as design of Informatica ETL that feeds data into mentioned Mart structure. Responsibilities will also include working with and reviewing design of other developers, understanding requirements, as well as interfacing with sponsors and stakeholders.
Duties will include serving as a technical lead for development of database structures and ETL design for data supporting business unit reporting. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining data mart that produces Business Objects reporting, as well as design of Informatica ETL that feeds data into mentioned Mart structure. Responsibilities will also include working with and reviewing design of other developers, understanding requirements, as well as interfacing with sponsors and stakeholders.
This position will be a client/business stakeholder-facing role, and resource will need to have polished and professional communication skills. Resource will be managing one large project involving the year-to-year improvement of the database that provides reporting for IHG sales. This resource will need to have the ability to wear "multiple hats", such as leading the design and best practices of the data development/architecture, gathering business requirements from the stakeholders and various reporting groups, and managing timelines and work load of projects. (which is why some general PM skills will be helpful).
Working knowledge of reporting frameworks such as Business Objects
Working knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica
Experience serving as a technical lead or liaison to matrixed divisions of an large corporate enterprise
Firm understanding of Master Data Management concepts and strategies
Project Management experience/experience managing a project plan a plus
Ability to prioritize and deliver requested work in a rapidly changing environment
Working knowledge of reporting frameworks such as Business Objects
Working knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica
