Position: .Net Developer- (Direct client)
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Seattle, WA
Position #1
• wcf rest + azure knowledge
• Strong grasp of View vs. ViewModel vs. Model (separation of concerns).
o Best case: solid experience with MVC.
o 2nd best: solid experience with MVVM (via Silverlight or other platform).
o 3rd best: solid ASP.NET WebForms but demonstrated knowledge of MVC/MVVM concepts.
• HTML4 (ideally dabbling in 5) + CSS + cross-browser compatibility strategies.
• Javascript + jQuery.
• LINQ to Objects.
• Creating object models which adopt the common principles (SOLID, DRY, et al). Should be familiar with interfaces, inheritance, polymorphism.
• Familiarity with writing testable code (dependency injection, abstraction, unit tests).
• Creating and consuming web/WCF/REST services.
• Working with XML (bonus: XmlSerialization).
Position #2
Core Skills:
• C# - 5 years with demonstrated OOP capabilities
• WPF – 6 months preferably with some MVVM exposure
• Design pattern implementation
• TDD and CI knowledge
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
• Serialization
• Threading
• Factories
• Cross-cutting concerns: errors, tracking and logging
Nice to have:
• Hands-on installer experience, preferably WIX
• Power Shell
• TFS knowledge
