POSITION : Lead SAS BI Developer
LOCATION : New York City, NY
DURATION : 6 months Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Qualifications (by priority order):
SAS Business Intelligence Suite (Data Integrations Studios/Web Report Studios/Information Map Studios).
Must have strong experience with transforming data into OLAP cubes, web reports, KPI's, Scorecards.
- Must have strong data visualization capabilities. Solid experience in layout and design of the SAS Web Portal.
7 years minimum with SAS BI.
- Solid BASE/SAS and SAS PROC SQL experience (7+ years)
- Must be able to conduct independent data analysis/data mining and demonstrate sound logic and reasoning
to glean key information from very large and disparate data sources.
Strong Bonuses(Nice to have not required most):
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with SAS 9.3/SAS BI 4.3/SAS EGuide 4.3
- UNIX/LINUX novice or better experience
- Novice to advanced background in statistics, particularly forecasting and heavy use of SAS/STAT
- SAS/Access to Netezza experience
- Data modeling and Data Warehousing Methodologies
- Java/JSP knowledge
