Technology Specialist (GlidePath Project)

Required Knowledge / Experience:

- 6+ years of system design and development experience with J2EE Technologies including JSP / Servlets, EJB3, JMS, JDBC, JMS,MQ
- Strong experience with Web Services/SOA, XML, XSL, SOAP
- Strong experience with Struts, Spring, Hibernate frameworks.
- 5+ recent years of experience in data integration/architecture, enterprise information integration and/or ETL
- Relational databases including Oracle, DB2, SQL and stored procedures
- Strong Analytical Skills.
- Experience with Batch and Real time solutions
- Architecting and developing web-based systems, data processing systems, and enterprise integration systems
- Use of different development methodologies including SDLC, RUP and/or Agile, and test-driven development
- Using development tools such as JUnit/Cactus, RAD7, CA SCM
- Proven track record in developing high quality applications
- Ability to mentor other developers and provide technical direction on application architecture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with gathering and documenting technical requirements and specifications
- Proven experience working in complex technology environments
- Results, action-oriented, with a "whatever it takes" attitude
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Bachelors Degree

Preferred Knowledge / Experience:
- Experience with enterprise projects in healthcare or insurance industries
- Sun certification

Primary Duties:
- Development of new or enhancements to existing systems that integrate with various internal and external systems.
- Develop technical documentation as appropriate
