Technical/Functional Skills

Practicing Release Manager would be preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

·         Owns Release Policy, process and planning; and enforcement thereof

·         Owns Release Tools including Release Calendar and Forward Plan on SharePoint

·         Release design, build and configuration

·         Coordinate Release acceptance (organize CCB meetings, document decisions), sign-off for implementation

·         Submit RFC's to Change Control Board, and represent the change (including Dev Team Changes).

·         Identify scripting opportunities and where possible automat release deployment to reduce manual process

·         Maintain clear release documentation on content, schedule and success of all releases (past, current and future)

Generic Managerial Skills

• Excellent Communication skills
• Very good understanding of the release processes

·         Ability to clearly put the risks across and to say NO.
