Job Title: GIS Developer
Location:Houston, TX
Duration: 6 months
Required Skills:
Strong C# development experience
Experience and proficiency with Application Development with Silverlight
Understanding of Microsoft Prism Architecture and MVVM design pattern
Good understanding of GIS Concepts such as ArcGIS Server, ArcObjects and ArcSDE.
Oracle experience preferred.
Experience implementing and using WCF services for application development.
Experience with software package implementations and support
Experience with Oil & Gas applications preferred.
Excellent trouble-shooting and problem solving skills.
Work with other development teams to help them integrate the current Silverlight viewer into applications using WCF bridge service.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and collaborate with end-users, project teams, management, and external working groups.
Experience with HTML 5, Javascript, IIS a plus
Experience with Internet protocols (FTP, HTTP, IP, etc) a plus
