Position: .NET Developer with MQ experience
Location: Deerfield, IL
Duration: 6+ months
Interview: Telephonic
Sr. .Net developer with Microsoft Framework 4.0 and MQ Series. Strong analytical skills, Microsoft .Net,C#, JSon, JQuery, RDBMS, Good communication and planning skills required.
This is a very fast paced environment. They need to be able to build tables, develop then pool into databases. They are now using MVC (Model View Control, it has a lot of components and capabilities). The position is very heavy database, they also use Palace Gate. This is a Sybase shop but Sybase is not required.
Must have MQ Series
Job Requirements:
• Must have experience in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle.
• 5+ years of professional development experience with web applications.
• Expert in C# and .Net development with experience in other languages a plus (Java, Python, Ruby, C++)
• Expert in ASP.NET MVC 3.0 and above and other MVC framework experience a plus (Rails, Django, Spring)
• Expert knowledge and experience with web technologies such as web services, SOA, REST, HTTP, JQuery, AJAX, raw JavaScript and CSS
• Working Experience in ORM technologies such as NHibernate or Entity Framework.
• Proficient in SQL stored procedures and performance tuning with a major RDBMS (Sybase, MS SQL Server, or Oracle)
• Extensive experience with practical design patterns, enterprise integration patterns and testing techniques.
• Experience designing and developing scalable, distributed, maintainable and high performance web applications.
SUMMARY
Creates architectural solutions that articulate the business context, conceptual design, and component-level logical design.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recommends new technologies based upon business value drivers and return on investment; drives new technologies towards implementation and exploitation. Establishes overall systems architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; contributes to the holistic vision of Enterprise Architecture. Defines architecture standards and anticipate areas where architecture standards may need to be developed that are in-line with customer, IT and industry standards. Directs the construction of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture). Works with business units to translate business strategy into discrete requirements compatible with current technical architectures. Defines systems, technical, and application architectures for new strategic initiatives; develops and maintains an architectural blueprint and evolutionary roadmap that defines and communicates the strategic direction for these architectures in support of business and technical strategies; Explains how the roadmap maintains and delivers cost effectiveness, business value, and competitiveness.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Requires Bachelor's degree in related field; Five years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MS/MA degree preferred. ten years of experience in information technologies and/or Six years of experience in health care industry preferred. SKILLS: Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required.
