Job Description

Necessary Skills (Must Have):

. Linux, C/C++
. Preferably familiar with STB hardware and software
. Knowledge of audio/video codecs like H.264, AC3 etc.
. Ability to use debug and profiling tools
. Ability to work in a fast-paced, and interruption-driven environment
. Need someone who can look at code, understand it, and possibly modify/enhance it scripting languages: Perl*, Python*, Bash Shell* and Make. Comfortable with Linux and Windows development environments.
- Ability to demonstrate disciplined approach in engineering design and implementation as well as documentation and communication skills.
- The desire to be a part of a team culture in a dynamic work environment which values personal initiative. Additional Skills:

. Knowledge of DirectFB, OpenGL, PCie, Security
. Experience with transcoding and/or 3D Video a plus
. Good communication and interpersonal skills
