Position: .Net/SQL Programmer Analyst
Client: State of TN
Location: Nashville, TN
Duration : 2 years
No. of Positions : 3 Positions
Rate : $30/hr on C2C.
Task Description:
Primary Duties
Supports dependency analysis including operating system, custom software, registry modifications, com objects, folder permissions, etc...
Migrates state legacy system servers to new data center (Government experience a plus)
Supports in automation developing and optimizing migration scripts in diverse operating systems (Windows 2000, 2003, 2008, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), VMWare (ESX), Sun and Solaris)
Able to manipulate (massage) import scripts to prep migration
Works with diverse web server technologies: IIS 6, IIS 7, Sun Java System Web Server, Apache Web Server
Qualifications:
Agile/SCRUM Software Development Process preferred. Knowledge/Experience with waterfall is a plus.
Experience in the following is desired:
Full lifecycle software development (SDLC) including system test and UAT
Object Oriented Programming and design patterns
Web Based Application Technologies: ASP, .Net, C#
Html, JavaScript, CSS, VBScript, Com Objects and Windows Services (WCF, Soap, Rest, WSDL, UDDI)
Client Server Application Experience (Windows, Windows Forms, WPF, VB6, PowerBuilder, Oracle Forms, Access, etc...)
PowerShell, Batch Processing, Web Deploy, MS Deploy
TFS, CI and Build Server a plus
DB2, Oracle, MS Sql, My SQL.
Experience using ETL tools a plus
Experience with diverse landscapes DEV, Test, Prod, UAT, POC, etc...
Data Access: ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET, OLE DB, DB2 Connect, etc...
Advanced level data manipulation skills i.e. using Excel/T-SQL/PL SQL/SSIS/DTS for cleansing and formatting data before loading in to new systems.
Ability to follow global methodologies for migrating data objects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
