Job Title:         Ruby on Rails Dev

Notes from call:

• This is for the main product - 360 Core. The team is down to 1 Developer. They develop in 4 month cycles and the new cycle is just beginning.
• Tony needs a contractor to help fix defects and implement new features while he looks for a full time UI Lead.
• Needs a UI person to write Ruby code in a Rails framework to call HTML and javascript code in browser to execute.
• Their backend runs on Ruby on Rails behind a java API

We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer with a passion and aptitude for crafting a superb user experience on the web.

• Tackling hard problems where many Rails developers fear to go.
• Working on web-scale discovery service that allows academic researchers to quickly search, discover and access reliable and credible library content.
• Contributing as an innovative SW Developer while working collaboratively with our development team.
• Using HTML5 technologies in the browser and Ruby on Rails on
  the server to build, deploy and maintain slick research interfaces.
• Working on our codebase that is clean, well-factored, and well-tested.
• Working with a process that is lightweight and focused on consistent delivery of successful working product
