Requirement Details:

The SAP BI with SEM BPS / IP Consultant will work on a project that uses SEM-BPS / IP application design activity to formulate application design requirements.

Activities include providing ideas and improvements in the planning processes, functions, layouts, and reports. This position will also troubleshoot, diagnosis, and support application development activities, including mentoring and training.

 Required Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years SAP BI with SEM BPS / IP Project experience involved in business analysis and testing tasks.
• Experience in gathering requirements, design planning functions, layouts, and reports.
• Deep understanding of budgeting, planning and forecasting concepts.
• Demonstrate problem solving and quantitative skills, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team-based organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills, but also the capability and desire to work independently when necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performing SEM-BPS application design activities of planning processes, functions, layouts, and reports.
• Assisting in sessions with subject matter experts in an effort to formulate application design requirements.
• Providing input to team architects regarding ideas or improvements in planning processes, functions, layouts, and reports.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting application development activities, including mentoring and training both consultant and client project team members.

Preferred Experience:

• SAP BW and BEx experience.
• Formal training or certification on SEM-BPS / IP. Some ABAP and Fox Formulas experience.

Additional daily activities include :

• Assist in go-live preparations involving gap analysis, issues resolution, master data and templates maintenance, configuration changes, integration and user acceptance testing

• Participate in identifying and implementing continuous business process improvements in planning, month-end closing, and consolidation

• Perform Regression testing for all the new objects build to meet user requirement

• Interact with offshore team and assign work to offshore resources

• Perform Technical interviews to hire new resources (Onshore & Offshore)

• Resolve financial reconciliation and out-of-balance issues during month-end close that were not addressed by external implementation partners

• Responsible for quality of BI Team deliverables and maintaining module design integrity

• Prepare project related documentation (functional design, technical design, test scripts) during the different stages of a project  SCASO6/Senior Application Consultant/Application Services/E/O6
