Title: SSAS Developer
Location: fort Lauderdale, Florida
6 month contract
Must Haves:
Excellent attention to detail
Highly proficient in all tools in the Microsoft BI technology stack (SSIS, SSAS SQL)
Ability and willingness to adhere to corporate development standards and documentation requirements
Ability to interpret business requirements and produce supporting data queries and result sets that match these requirements
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills with ability to develop rapport with others
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to carry out assignments and adapt to changing priorities.
Perform well under time constraints, and manage projects within assigned deadline

Role:
Support the SCA project initiatives by implementing design recommendations put forth by the project core team. The projects goal is to optimize the performance of the existing DW, cubes and ETL process in order to provide increase scalability, performance and enhanced user experience. The developer will be using the Microsoft BI technology stack.
Support the SCA project initiatives by implementing design recommendations put forth by the project core team. The projects goal is to optimize the performance of the existing DW, cubes and ETL process in order to provide increase scalability, performance and enhanced user experience. The developer will be using the Microsoft BI technology stack.
Query source data systems in SQL Server as necessary and learn data to support business requirements.
Design and build data warehouse dimensions and fact tables as required, using SQL Server and SSAS.
Build/maintain SSIS packages to move data from source systems (both files and databases) into Staging and Data warehouse databases.
Build/modify cubes as required to support front-end user interfaces. This is expected to include KPIs, aggregations and drill-trough's as needed.
Develop multiple cubes and integrate them using Linked measures
Automate SSAS Cube processing using SSIS
Design ETL (SSIS packages) to load Slowly Changing Dimensions (Type I and II)
Develop Database components Objects including tables, views, stored procedures, indexes and define best practices
Perform database and ETL tuning
