Title: Systems Administrator
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Duration: 6 Months
It is in the Pharmaceutical industry- and is a long term contract. The candidate must have experience in Weblogic and Apache should be able to travel for a face to face interview
Required skills:
• 5 – 7 years working in unix/linux based systems
• Installation and configuring BEA Weblogic 10.3.5 servers
• Installation and configuration Apache Web Server 2.2. Experience writing Mod rewrite rules
• Understanding of Java applications.
• Installation and configuration of Apache Tomcat servers
• Installing PHP in linux based servers
• Using OpenSSL in creating certificate requests.
• Writing Unix Shell Scripts to auto restart servers.
• Working with Maven to do code build and deployments
Responsibilities:
• Installing Weblogic servers and configuring domains.
• Setting up Apache web servers to support new applications
• Upgrading Weblogic servers by applying necessary patches
• Doing deployments as and when required ( deployments in all env., like dev, staging and production)
• Renewing and installing SSL certificates
• Team management is a nice to have. This person will be in charge of managing junior Systems Administrators if the team were to expand.
