Position: Lead Java Developer

Location: Tallahassee, FL.

Duration: 14 months

Visa Status: All visas are open

 
Responsibilities:

·         Implementing and enhancing  JAVA web applications;

·         Implementing and enhancing Public Assistance Fraud  and AIMS Oracle 10G databases;

·         Implementing and enhancing PAF and AIMS backend data processing jobs;

·         Developing and/or enhancing AIMS business and system documentation;

·         Working with staff to mentor them in JAVA development skills;

·         Working with staff to transfer knowledge of AIMS requirements, designing implementation and operational maintenance details.

 

Requirements:

·         Experience with developing database driven applications in a JAVA environment using Eclipse IDE (3+ years);

·         Experience with Apache Tomcat application server (2+ years);

·         Experience with object-oriented development techniques (3+ years);

·         Experience with Oracle (3+ years);

·         Experience working with users to gather and document business requirements (1+ years);

·         Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with technical and user staff.
