• Web Services, J2EE, EJB, XML, SQL

• The developer must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures, and performs a variety of complex applications development related tasks with little guidance from others.

• Design - Converts user requirements and/or "stories" into effective and efficient system solutions. When working with iterative development methodologies, may be responsible for ensuring that design pieces are included in stories. May assess and propose whether and/or how various connected system designs should be consolidated or affected. Works with IT professionals from other teams to ensure that proposed designs are evaluated with a view to enterprise-wide architecture and system performance. System Development - Develops computer programs and J-Unit tests that meet design specifications.

• Quality Control - Performs and oversees code walk through. In conjunction with Quality Assurance staff, performs extensive system testing to ensure that the systems delivered to the users work efficiently and that they are developed following the applicable development methodology. Identifies largest risk areas and participates in resolution of these issues.

• Teamwork, design and development of complex systems. Must have an understanding of and experience working with Web Sphere/WSAD/RAD.
