Location: Cupertino, CA
Duration:- 12 months +
I need mainly Sr. Java Leads and Java Architects – Sr Java folks.
Apple likes people from e-commerce companies (eBay, PayPal, Walmart.com or Macys.com) if not from those companies – from Fortune 500 – well-known companies).
Extensive Java, J2EE, SOAP or Web Services, Spring, Hibernate experience
Phone interview first. If it goes well – will be a more lengthy onsite interview (2-3 hours) with a few different team members (one after the other) – some coding on the white board, etc.

Qualifications:
7- 10 years of related software development experience and Lead Experience for multiple projects
Experience developing web based applications utilizing JAVA / J2EE
Frameworks: Spring, Hibernate
Designs, develops, implement and enhance application tools and services
Experience with service-oriented architectures and XML
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, implement and enhance application tools and services
Design and implementation of complex applications, complex web application layouts
Develops, implements and tests software to meet specific project requirements.
Ensuring interoperability with other applications
* Candidate must have demonstrated expertise in complex multi-tiered application development with experience in Java,
and familiarity of developing large scale and volume-based applications.
* 7-10 years of Java Architect experience
* Must be hands on (not expecting to be more than 25% but knowledgable enough to guide developers and do code reviews).
* BSCS or equivalent degree, plus minimum of 5 years working in a SW development position
* Experience with development in Linux environment.
* Expertise with a variety of development tools and languages, such as Java/J2EE, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat / WebSphere / JBoss, HTML
* Excellent object oriented design and experience with UML & design patterns
* Data modeling and data transformation methodologies
* Strong analytic skills, plus excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience working in a team environment
* Technical documentation experience
Preferred Experience:
* Experience with Oracle DB & Performance Tuning
* Experience in various testing methods
Responsibilities Include:
- Drive the design and development of an Enterprise System project.
- Manage the design, development and cross-functional interaction across multiple projects within the technical capacity.
- Working with the project team to understand the requirements, prepare requirement specifications and technical design.
- Produce and review High-Level and Detailed technical design specs.
- Develop the application based on functional specification and technical design; adhere to development techniques and standards.
- Assist in writing and executing test cases at various phase of the project
- Facilitate design walkthroughs with IT and business staff to validate solutions against business requirements and IT architecture.
- Independently analyze and resolve complex and high impact production issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams for requirements that need other teams' involvement.
