Position : Linux Admin
Location : CA-California/San Jose/Mountain View
Duration : 12 Months
Responsibilities include;
Account Management services, including addition, deletion, and modification of user accounts.
Troubleshooting services, including working with users to resolve problems with Windows and Windows interconnectivity, Installing/Configuring software products, custom developed software, Working with Network Engineering Team, Administration of RedHat Enterprise Linux servers, System security, firewall configuration and system monitoring;
LDAP configuration; TCP/IP networking/troubleshooting; NFS/Samba configuration;
SAN configuration, optimization, etc. Need resources who have experience with solid administrative skills, RedHat, backups, system updates, IT Security experience, etc.
Shell scripting and automation experience. Experience with web servers, including Apache/Tomcat. Experience with support in a shared Windows/Linux environment.
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred candidate must also be willing to step up and provide support to Cloud Engineering Team in provisioning Virtual Machines, troubleshooting, etc in a Virtualized/Cloud Environment, and learn new technologies
