Need Senior Administrator – WebSphere/Linux/AIX/Unix
Location: Rye, NY

Skills:
Senior Administrator will provide technical direction for the Red Hat Linux, AIX and Internet environment.
5-7 years' system administration experience on IBM AIX and Red Hat Linux Platforms.
Thorough understanding of internet technologies.
Proficiency in all aspects of Red Hat Linux and AIX UNIX system administration and Websphere Application Server.
Administer for large scale production use.
Strong skills configuring servers and installing third party software.
Understanding AIX-based operating systems on IBM Pseries servers.
Working knowledge of IBM LPAR technology on enterprise Pseries servers and experience with HP servers.
Deep knowledge of File Systems, storage management, and EMC storage devices (VMAX, Celerra, Clarion) and related EMC configuration software.
Proven experience with clustering technologies including Red Hat Clustering and HACMP.
Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts as well as current UNIX security concerns and techniques.
Familiarity with Cisco switches, routers and basic routing concepts.
Ability to write scripts in some administrative language (e.g. KSH, Perl, or TCL).
Excellent Web server knowledge base, including IBM WebSphere and Apache Web server, J2EE.net, and PHP.
Working knowledge of WebLogic application server in a Linux environment is desirable.
Flexibility, high energy, dedication, and ability to work in a fast paced environment are must-haves for our rapidly changing technical environment.
