ROLE:  Application Test Analyst

Rancho Cordova, CA

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Functions as technical team member for application testing activities in one or more technical areas of the application.
• Reviews and analyzes change requests to determine the scope of work and estimate the level of effort for testing application changes. Writes detailed test work plans, test scenarios and test scripts based on business requirements and high level designs.
• Schedules and coordinates test execution, including automated regression test suites.
• Creates test data and executes test scripts. Tracks actual vs. expected results, and evaluates quality of code changes. Documents results of testing activities, including creating and reporting test-discovered defects.
• Designs, develops, executes and maintains automated regression testing scripts.
• Follows configuration control procedures over application source libraries at pre-release levels.
• Maintains direct knowledge of and applies all applications testing technical processes, procedures, guidelines and quality standards.
