Description:
CGI is looking for an ETL Developer for one of our Health IT projects within our public sector team. As a dedicated member of the CGI l project team, s/he will be primarily responsible for the design, build, and deployment of the data integration/ETL component for the public sector project.. This role will be working very closely with the Data Architect and the Business Requirements Analyst or subject matter experts.
Essential Skills Required:
8+ years of experience with the Infomatica ETL toolset, including experience with v8.X
3+ years of experience writing Oracle 11g PL/SQL
3+ years of experience developing Unix Shell scripts
Responsibilities:
Design/Develop detail ETL specifications based on business requirements.
•Develop Unit Test Plans and Test Data.
•Assist in the data analysis effort necessary in following all ETL standards and architecture.
•Assist ETL Architect in resolving issues uncovered relating to data/workflows.
•Assist in the development of system and integration test plans.
•Execute test plans and document results and discrepancies.
•Update and maintain metadata.
• Determine and analyze the data
• Determine the structure of the data
• Experience interpreting and understanding multidimensional and normalized data models
• Writing and optimizing SQL code and stored procedures
• Strong conceptual, communications, and technical skills
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
