Title: Oracle Financial DBA with R12

F2F : After first round of telephonic interview (Local Preferred).
Job Description:
** MUST have strong R12 exp, specifically R12 Production Support exp- REQUIRED!**
Tasks:
• Monitor and tune databases to optimize performance
• Workload management of the DBA team (2) and outsourced monitoring and project activities
• Planning of installations, patch management and application / database upgrades, cloning and instance management
• Provide conceptual and technical advice, planning and oversight of DBA project activities and schedules
• Monitor and administer database management system security including adding and removing users, administering quotas and detection and resolution of security issues.
• Capacity planning
• Implement database backup and recovery processes
• Troubleshoot database problems and implement corrective measures as required.
• Document all developed/implemented processes.
• Manage on-call work schedules and emergency change control activities and reporting
• Accountable for migration/release activities as defined in our change control methodology.
• Managing a team of in-house DBA's and third party resources in a 24x7 global database environment.
