Entry Level Java Developer
Magna, UT.
6 Months
Start Date: Immediate
One of my client's is in need of an entry level Java Developer to assist with the full life cycle of their product development using Java and J2EE technologies. Must have hands on experience Developing custom applications based upon client customer requirements and industry standards; Maintaining existing applications and working on support issues from receipt through development of the solution; Participating in design and code reviews and writing required design and analysis documents for the applications; Writing application architecture specifications and assisting with build of walk-through prototypes; Learning and writing automated test routines to baseline applications; Interacting with test/quality assurance engineers to define test plans, identify and reproduce defects and provide fixes as needed. Experience with Tomcat, Oracle OC4J, JBoss or other application servers. Proven experience developing business applications in a full software development life cycle environment using Java, J2EE technologies – preferably using RUP or Agile methodologies; Experience building applications using Java, Swing, JDBC, and EJBs, with Hibernate as an added plus.
