ATG Lead

Job Description:
The ATG Technical Lead position would be expected to create structured analysis, design, technical reviews and have hands on experience , working on ecommerce platforms (ATG) Should have working experience in Java/Oracle/Weblogic environment, developing servlets, droplets ,java scripts and should be able to implement ATG modules using available technology, and infrastructure to improve customer experience and support growing demand for Verizon.com. The ATG Tech Lead will interact closely with various technical leads, program managers and development managers. Candidate needs to have 4+ years of working hands-on ATG experience and a strong J2EE foundation.
Responsibilities:
• Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, Technical review, structured analysis, design, and programming techniques
• Performance Tuning of ATG Applications
• Experience and knowledge with the ATG Commerce platform and retail business environment; multi- channel and multi-brand retail experience
• Work closely with key members of different application team for development and Analysis of ATG-based eCommerce platform as well as work with the QA team to set the load testing standards and participate in load testing to find performance bottlenecks as needed in the e-commerce application releases.
• Collaborate with business partners, analyze comparative web navigation methodologies, and work with IT counterparts to improve end user experience of Verizon.com leading to increased customer satisfaction and adoption of Verizon.com
• Flexible work schedules to work with global team
• Expert in ATG J2EE development, servlets, droplets, JSP, XML, XSLT, and XSLT as well as the ability to write and execute SQL queries and need to have experience in full life cycle J2EE solution implementation from conceptualization, requirements, design and specification through development (coding), QA/debugging, integration testing, deployment and follow-up support.
• Will be responsible for development and supporting solutions integrating ATG with Oracle UCM Server, Aggregate Knowledge, and X plus One, URM 10g/11g and customization of User Interface components using APIs.
• Hands on experience in implementing ATG based applications using Personalization, Content Administration, BCC and Scenario engine using Java and have knowledge of working of Dynamo server and Nucleus.
• Hands on experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and good understanding of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as well as Strong understanding of the HTTP protocol, web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc., familiarity with the various browsers and Web servers, expert knowledge of widespread technology, protocols and standards such as HTML, NFS, RMI, SMTP, SNMP, SOAP, XML and JSON
• Develop implementation plan and coordinate development activities with both onshore and offshore developers
• Perform design and code reviews of ATG implementation

Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• In depth knowledge of Software Development methodologies and 5-6 years of software development and/or experience as a Tech lead in a large organization out of which Minimum 4 years hands-on J2EE/ATG experience on Weblogic .Experience with UCM is a added advantage.
• Experience in ATG should include deployment and extensive working knowledge on ATG modules e.g., (Commerce, Profiles, Merchandising, Content Management, Commerce Service Center, BCC ,workflow engine, Merchandising, Campaign management, fulfillment module, abandoned orders, and custom actions
• 3-4 years of experience in online or ecommerce technology, participating in Java software development and software architecture including ATG.
• Experience with end-to-end application performance tuning, including back-end database layer, ATG, application server/web server layer, UCM Server and UI layer
• Software Development Experience with specific working knowledge in Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Web Logic, JDBC, SQL, XML and object oriented techniques ,JSON, XML/XSLT, web services, JDBC (SQL, Oracle PL/SQL), SOAP, Content Management Systems (e.g., Oracle UCM), Oracle ATG eCommerce Platform, Web Data Management Platforms (e.g., Aggregate Knowledge, Endeca)
• Proven ability to assimilate complex business problems, technical issues and propose solutions, and implement to resolution
• Experience working in large, geographically distributed global team that fuses staff from a variety of teams and components
• Proficient with MS-Office Tools e.g., Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio
• Must have excellent communication skills with proven demonstration of organizational and leadership skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Minimum Bachelors degree and 6 years of work experience
• Knowledge/experience in mobile application platforms (smartphone, tablet) is an added advantage.
