QA Manager- Release Management Processes

Summary

Looking for a QA Manager to work as a vital part of an Application Development team to develop, execute and refine our client's  IS Release Management Processes, and ensure coordinated, high quality, on time content delivery across the enterprise.

Required Experience:

·        A thorough knowledge of testing methodology and the various testing phases within the development life cycle is required. 

·        Release management background is required. 

·        Must be able to thoroughly analyze, understand and test new Data Warehouse release and Cognos Report components.

·        Exceptionally strong analytical skills are required. 

·        Experience in large data conversion projects is required. 

·        Candidates must have specific data warehousing testing experience. 

·        A strong Oracle background and SQL skills are needed to generate querying scripts and statements. 

·        Extensive knowledge of relational data modeling and relational database concepts like tables, primary and foreign keys, indexes, partitions, views, referential integrity, functions, triggers, stored procedures and packages is required.  

·        Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

·        A strong background with the Cognos Suite of Business Intelligence Applications and reporting tools is required.
