Role: Performance Testers Needed with Java SOA 

Location:Minneapolis MN

Duration: 18 months

Job Description:

Leads Performance and Infrastructure testing QA activities for Wells Fargo Store Platform that includes Store Vision Platform, Store Vision Teller, and Teller Consolidation Server.  Job includes providing oversight to the performance testing disciplines, delivery of artifacts, milestone coordination with the release managers, and signoff on performance test results.  Is responsible and accountable for project life cycle deliverables, from planning to analysis to results presentation and monitoring of production performance.  Provides certification and defect criteria for performance test results with emphasis on test data metric analysis and auditable documentation of plan to results effects.  Can design scalability tests that stress points of vulnerability within the application's architecture. Sizes new performance testing efforts.  Assesses risks inherent in given test plan and communicates same to stakeholders.

 

Basic Qualifications:   

• Demonstrated senior level experience supervising others in the pursuit of performance testing and isolating performance bottlenecks
• Hands on, working knowledge of HP Performance Center, Sitescope and Introscope monitoring tools
• Experience and self sufficient in using UNIX/Linux VMSTAT / IOSTAT utilities and analyzing the output
• Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and engineering vuGen scripts of significant complexity
• Excellent oral/written communication with ability to effectively work with onsite and remote teams
• Strong independent worker and an excellent team player.
• Demonstrated problem analysis, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills in a technical environment.
• Strong data/metrics extraction, parsing and correlation skills using Load Runner Analysis and Excel
• Knowledge of productivity application software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, etc.
• Ability to interface with all levels and across organizational lines
• Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines
• UNIX and Windows IIS server technical proficiency or equivalency

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 – 7 years of application performance testing using HP Performance Center
• 3 years experience in performance testing and analysis of Java SOA (services oriented architecture) application framework for scalability and resiliancy 
• 3 years experience in Windows clustered server environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Developer level experience with script development & scenario automation using C, C++, or Java
• Experience with a diverse set of HP VUGen Protocols: Web/HTML, WebServices, Tuxedo SSL, Winsock, Ajax, click and script, and Mobile
• Working knowledge of network protocols being able to communicate effectively with network technicians
• Knowledge of Wells Fargo STORES Platform and Teller architectures
• Knowledge of financial services industry
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/work experience
