 Project Description:

This position uses established work procedures to analyze, architect, design, develop, implement, maintain, re-engineer and troubleshoot small to moderate applications that impact multiple business units. Responsibilities include providing technical expertise in understanding customer business issues, being conversant in the customer's business language, consulting with higher-level technical staff to resolve complex problems, and composing technical documentation.

This resource will be responsible for developing, converting, re-engineering and enhancing ASP and C# .NET applications. Duties will primarily consist of developing and providing business users support for multiple applications. Will use established work procedures and innovative approaches to complete assignments and coordinate projects, such as conducting needs assessments, leading projects, supporting, maintaining and enhancing existing applications.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 5-7 years' experience developing .net applications
• 4 + years of experience with C#
• 4 + years of experience with  ASP. Net and the MVC framework
• SQL Server 2008 is a PLUS
• very strong communications skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator and listener.
• Good organizational skills
• Understand UML - Database model, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, use cases, etc.
• Experience designing/creating database and application models using UML tools for web based applications.
• Familiarity with the major DBMS's (Oracle, DB2 and MS Sql Server) and SQL syntax.
• Deep understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, TDD
• Experience using ASP.Net, C#, ASP.NET MVC
• Familiarity with the .Net Framework, WCF, WPF, LINQ, Entity Framework
• Understanding of web services and UDDI.
• Experience developing web application front ends (GUI's, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, Ajax, etc.).
• Deep understanding of XML, XML Schemas and XSL Stylesheets.
• Strong UI design, screen usability design
• Experience in Silverlight a plus
