End User is in need of MQ and WMB installation, configuration and engineering support. The key objective for this engagement is to assist End User at implementing MQ and WMB in their five environments:
Dev, QA, SIT, UAT and Production
WMB is the END USER's defacto ESB. End User is on version 8 of WMB, and version 7 of MQ. Installation is under Linux (RHEL) on z/VM.
End User is actively seeking to hire an FTE to fill this need, but in the interim, there is an immediate need to continue the installation and architecting of these environments.
In each environment, there is at least one MQ instance and one MQ. In UAT, SIT and Prod, clustering is planned. Multiples of these environments are being planned and will, in time, be implemented.
It is hoped, if this engagement is extended, there may be some knowledge transfer as well by the SME performing this work.
Tasks
SUBCONTRACTOR will perform the following tasks:
Install and assist in the installation and engineering of End User's environments, as described above, and as requested by End User.
Analyze and make technical recommendation and implement WMB and MQ as described above.
