Job Description
· Break-fix for existing ABAP/4 RICEFW objects.
· Enhancement of existing ABAP/4 RICEFW objects.
· Development of new ABAP/4 RICEFW objects.
· Debug standard SAP code as needed in order to respond to questions posed by Business Analysts, Business Owners or end users.
· Convert functional specifications into efficient, maintainable ABAP/4 code that meets requirements.
· Understand the affect of SAP configuration on programming logic.
· Unit test and support the integration testing of custom RICEFW objects.
· Write technical specifications and other technical documentation.
Mid-level developer with between 3 - 5 years hands-on experience creating, correcting and enhancing ABAP/4 RICEFW objects.
Must Have Skills
· Able to develop new and enhance/break-fix existing ABAP/4 RICEFW objects, including but not limited to the following object types: interfaces, reports, function modules, user exits, enhancements, classes, workflow, Web Dynpro for ABAP, ABAP proxy, IDoc (extension of standard SAP and/or custom), HR Forms, HCM Forms, BSP applications.
· Experience in finding and correcting bugs in custom ABAP/4 RICEFW objects.
· Able to debug and modify standard SAP programs that have been customized.
· Able to debug and add enhancements to standard SAP code.
· Able to identify ABAP/4 RICEFW objects suitable for performance improvements and implement those required optimizations.
· Able to research and find SAP Notes to address failures in standard SAP code.
· Able to interpret short-dumps and find the root cause of failures in standard SAP code.
· Able to thoroughly unit test changes made to custom ABAP/4 RICEFW objects.
· Possession of written and verbal communication skills required to create and maintain technical documentation and to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical staff.
