ASP.NET Programmer. Initial 3 month engagement. Start immediately.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Builds and supports custom web based software applications.
- Building user interface applications and back-end databases using various programming and scripting languages, and authoring complex web pages.
- Assists in project planning and website design, creating prototypes and functional specifications for projects
- Creating technical methodologies for engineering solutions to web-based development problems; meeting with internal staff and clients on specifics of projects, new technologies, and deadlines
- Assist in maintaining and developing various websites, and applications, for our clients, and assist in special projects.
Qualifications:
- This position prefers a four-year degree in a related field
- 3+ years pertinent experience in Web development using HTML, ASP, ASP.NET (vb.net), XML, SQL, JavaScript, JSON, CSS
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make decisions based on available information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and the ability to be flexible in an ever changing work environment
- Team oriented with a strong work ethic
- High levels of resourcefulness, critical thinking, and creative problem solving skills
- Strong communication, planning, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
