Title:                                        OBIEE Techno Functional Consultant

Length:                                    12 Months (with possible extensions – Long-Term)

Location:                                  Costa Mesa, CA

Job Description:

General duties will include –

·         Maintenance of a production system, monitoring of automated batch jobs, bug fixing and coordinating releases of new functionalities.

·         Delivery of support services and complying with SLA.

·         Coordination with upstream and downstream application leads in a global environment with team located at more than one location.

·         Coordination with Incident Manager for the application related high severity issues.

·         Gathering requirements and providing high level estimates for the change requests initiated by Global Process Owners of business.

·         Providing impact assessment for the approved changes.

·         Resource management for the application support team.

·         Process Improvement initiatives.

·         Responsible for communicating with Business owners.

·         Providing the health and status quo to the senior management.

Skills Required:

·         Intermediate/Expert knowledge of OBIEE.

·         Intermediate functional knowledge of Finance & HR.

·         Intermediate working knowledge of PL/SQL and Unix.

·         Effective problem solving skills.

·         Effective verbal and written communication skills.

·         Experience of high profile customer handling. Need to work closely with VP and Directors.

·         Experience of co-coordinating and supervising the offshore team in an outsourced model (offshore-onsite model).

·         Can work independently with minimal supervision.

·         6+ years of total IT experience with 4+ years of OBIEE experience.
