This position for asp.net developer will work closely with AMMO's (AGGREGATED METADATA | Management & Operations) data analyst. The purpose of this assignment is to come up with a User Interface (GUI) in asp.net that integrates currently existing MS Access databases and their front end functionalities. The UI should be easy to use, fast to interact and be able to handle large amounts of data in excel grid format. Specific emphasis on working with asp.net in conjunction with MS Access 2007 as database is highly desired. The candidate should have good communication skills, be an expert in asp.net, MS Access and other front end technologies.

Years of experience required:

ASP.Nett: 3+

HTML 5: 3+

MS Access 2007: 3+

Entertainment Industry:1+   

Managerial: less than 1

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required Skills:

        At least 5 years experience as a front-end ASP.NET developer

        Experience in most (preferably all) of the following:

o   ASP.NET MVC 4 and Web Forms

o   JavaScript

o   jQuery

o   CSS (2 & 3)

o   AJAX

o   HTML (4 & 5) and XHTML

o   XML and JSON

o   MS Access 2007

o   MS SQL Server

        Experience developing web sites requiring cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility

        Working knowledge of IIS (preferably 7 or 7.5)

        Familiarity with the services-oriented architecture, in particular ASMX, WCF, and RESTful services

        Knowledge of coding and testing best practices

        Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

        Ability to code under pressure

Preferred Skills:

        JavaScript MVC experience is a big plus

        Web design experience

        UI and UX skills

        Experience with mobile technologies

        Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS)

        Agile/Scrum development experience
