Release Engineering Architect

Location: Cupertino, California

Duration: 6-12 Months

 

Required Skills:

Mandatory skills:

·         Maven & GIT are mandatory

·         SVN, Continuous Integration

 

Release Engineering

·         Need a Senior Architect level profile who has led and managed product/framework releases end-end.

·         Having industry knowledge on product release and branching management

·         Should be able to establish release management and continuous integration for platform

·         Has extensive experience with Jenkins/Hudson & SVN and Maven

·         Can help with coming with white box QA framework and take ownership of ensuring that new releases are backward compatible

·         Good understanding of the platform/product release planning, branching strategy for various tenants at different platform level, maintenance branch or Emergency bug fix  branch planning,  Merging. Planning the backward compatibility and involve hands on in creating /maintaining the functional junits for the same.

·         All these should be in the context of SVN and Continuous integration.
