Title: SOA Architect
Location: Southern, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Client: IT Convergence.
Rate+ expenses
Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
Summary of Role:
• To collaborate on and lead customer Oracle SOA (Service Orientated Architecture) implementations providing a solid technical architecture, design, delivery and transition to produce the final delivery product.
• To work with technical leadership at customer sites to understand SOA, BPEL, BPM principles and designs to fit their client and customer needs.
• To provide guidance and direction to junior consultants on client engagements.
• To be seen as an industry leader in the SOA space and provide industry inputto user groups and professional organizations.
Required Skills:
• Gathering and analyzing business requirements
• Installing and configuring software Implementing Sercice Orientated Architecture applications
• Delivering test plans and testing applications
• Migrating the applications to production
• Transferring knowledge to the clients
• 5 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle SOA, BPEL, BPM products including version 10 and 11G.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion MiddleWare, OBIEE, and Oracle eBusiness and Fusion Applications
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Proven experience gathering customer requirements and leading JAD sessions
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time
• BS or MS in Computer Science or Information Systems with 5 + yrs. experience in SOA, BPEL, BPM, OBIEE, Oracle Data Base Administration and the Oracle e-Business Suite.
• Knowledge of other Oracle Fusionware products/methodologies, specifically IdM, Database administration, OBIEE, Hyperion Business Intelligence products
• 5+ years in technically leading medium scale projects
• Knowledge of Data Integrator a plus
• Experience with UNIX is a plus
• Certification in SOA and BPM 10 or 11G desired
• Experience with B2B interfaces and EDI
• A solid understanding of logical vs. physical database design
• Understanding and/or first hand knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence toolssuch as Forms, Reports, Discoverer, XML Publisher (aka BI Publisher), Siebel Analytics
• Extensive SQL, PL/SQL, Java, ADF and/or XML skills

• To work with technical leadership at customer sites to understand OBIEE principles and designs to fit their client and customer needs.
• To provide guidance and direction to junior consultants on client engagements.
• To be seen as an industry leader in the OBIEE space and provide industry inputto user groups and professional organizations.

• Strong experience with Informatica v 9.1, Financial Analytics 7.9.6.3 , Date Warehouse Administration Console (10.1.3.4.1)
• SQL is a must
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Proven experience gathering customer requirements and leading JAD sessions
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
