This person will need to be able to speak very clearly and have clear articulate communication skills to interact with the different teams. I do not want to see anyone below 7/10 range for com skills.

Role Summary:

The Mobile Developer will work within our Engineering team in our Reston, VA office to deliver frameworks and apps for iOS, Android, Blackberry, or Windows 7. 

These applications will support biometric capture using the phone's cameras and microphones, interface with onboard security capabilities, leverage GPS capabilities, and communicate with a server using web services over a secure channel. 

The Mobile Developer is expected to have experience in one or more device platforms, possess the flexibility and desire to learn new technologies, have strong knowledge of app deployment capabilities, and can demonstrate solid UI/UX design.

Role Responsibilities:

·         Deliver on assigned software design,  development, testing, and documentation tasks;

·         Work closely with a team to integrate designs, components, and ideas together;

·         Strive to improve capabilities, pick up new technology and programming languages, look to add value;

·         Introduce best practices and new solutions to improve speed, usability, and performance.

Person Specification:

·         The drive to deliver quality products in a timely manner;

·         Ability to work independently and as a member of a team;

Qualifications:

·         8+ years of Software Engineering experience with a product focus;

·         B.S. in CS/Engineering or equivalent.     

·         2+ years developing applications in iOS or Android.

·         Strong knowledge of Object Oriented concepts.

·         Knowledge of Multithreaded programming.

·         Experience with HTML5 based applications

·         Experience with Web Services is a plus.
