Job Title: System Architect(Opnet)

Location: :12+ months

Duration: 6 month contract 

Rate :$62/hr

Job Description: 

Experience with deploying and configuring OpNet appliances and software 

Experience working with Application teams on performance 

College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or engineering and/or equivalent work experience. 

Network vendor Certifications Preferred. (CCIE, CCNA) 

Experience with OpNet best practices to implement processes and services to support global network and applications 

Proven analytical, strategic vision drawing on strong problem-solving abilities. 

Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. 

Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. 

Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language appropriate to both executive and           managerial audiences. 

Ability to conduct research into server, storage, virtualization issues, standards, and products. 

Ability to effectively manage relationships with other architecture teams, application 

Highly self motivated and directed. 

Organizational skills with attention to task details, documentation and target dates. 

Team orientated, willing to share knowledge and collaborate with peers. 

teams, stakeholders, business and customer representatives. 

In-depth understanding of Network architecture design techniques, theories, principles, and practices. 

Solid experience architecting Network systems within a broad spectrum of technologies. 

Excellent knowledge of Cisco, F5 and Juniper network systems. (routers, switches, Load balancers) 

Excellent knowledge of LAN/WAN concepts and systems. 

Excellent knowledge routing protocols BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, GLBP, Traffic engineering, L2/L3 VPN, multicast &            class of service. 

Excellent knowledge of WAN acceleration concepts and devices. 

Establish and maintain key relationships with strategic suppliers 

Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives. 

MS Office - Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio. 

Flexible work schedule required. 

Travel may be required.
