Role: Sr. QA Engineer/Sr. Manual Tester
Duration: 6 - 12 Months Contract
Location: Denver, CO
Start Date: Immediate
No.Of.Positions: 4
Note: Client is looking for Sr. Manual testers with some knowledge on Automarion
DESCRIPTION:
The Sr. QA Engineer With more of Manual testing will participate in gathering project requirements and work with the product manager(s) to define criteria of success for each product build ensure successful software functionality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Designs and implements automated test capabilities (primary focus).
• Writes test plans, cases and scripts to ensure that the requirements are tested.
• Executes manual and automated tests.
• Document and report test results.
• Exhibits a strong understanding and ability to apply proven SQA techniques and methods.
• Promotes and exhibits team-oriented behavior.
• Estimates levels of effort for test execution.
• Manages a growing suite of regression test scripts to keep them current as the software functionality evolves.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Demonstrated success with SQA best practices required.
• Expert knowledge of test automation with 2 or more tools.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience with Scrum and other Agile processes.
• Familiarity with impact/risk analysis and software traceability.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
4 years experience in Quality Assurance or Software Development
• 10 years' experience in SQA.
• 5 to 7 years' experience in Test Automation.
• 5 years' experience in high traffic web site testing.
• CTFL, ISTQB, CSQA, or CSTE certifications are preferred.
