Technical Skills:
Senior Java Developer needed for long term consulting project for client company. Client Company is Fortune 500.
Responsibilities: Contribute to New Application Development as well as existing applications for the Infrastructure of large, high volume web applications.
Requirements:

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a professional development environment.
- 5+ years of web application development experience.
- Strong Java Coding Experience
- A strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms is required.
- Ability to develop new and innovative applications as well as maintaining existing code.
- Strong experience with Core Java is required.
- Demonstrated experience architecting, developing and deploying high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed applications is required.
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills are required.
- Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modeling is required.
- Experience with ORM products is required.
- Experience with component based web application frameworks is required
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
