Need SAP BOBJ Technical Analyst

 

Location: Glen Mills, PA

 

Duration: 6 Months

 

Need LOCALS only, F2F required

 

Skills:

 

•          Experience with SAP BW 3.5 or BW 7.0

• Basic ABAP programming capability for R/3 extraction routines, BW transfer rules and update rules

• Knowledge of data warehousing, tables and structures (star schema, dimensions, and master data)

• Knowledge of data modeling techniques

• Knowledge of concepts and architecture of the SAP Business Information Warehouse

• Hands-on experience working with SAP BW/BI tools, focusing on Extraction, Transformation, and Loading of Data (ETL)

• Knowledge of the SAP BW Metadata repository

• Experience creating, modifying, loading, and troubleshooting BW Master Data, BW Data Store Objects, and BW Info providers (Basic Cubes, Multi-cubes, Remote cubes, and Aggregates)

• Enhanced functions of SAP Business Explorer Analyzer (RSRT, RSTRACE…)

• Knowledge of the Pre-calculation Server used by Information Broadcaster

• Experience using Process Chains to automate loading and other processing

• Knowledge of the different delta mechanisms and data staging from several source systems

• Data extraction from SAP and non SAP source systems

• Implementation experience with ASAP for BW

•          Minimum of 2 year's experience with web development including HTML and JavaScript is required. 3-5 years experience with SAP Business Warehouse 3.5 or higher is preferred.  Experience with multi-dimensional/relational data models and general data warehouse concepts are beneficial.

•          Experience with SAP BW Business Explorer Analyzer (BEx), SAP BW Web Query development, enhanced features of BW reporting including use of WEB reporting and reporting agents and the Web Application Designer

•          Experience with SAP BO 3.X or SAP BO 4.0

o          Knowledge of Universe design

o          Knowledge of  BW BO integration

o          Knowledge of Webi Reporting , QAAWS , Live Office and Xcelsius is must

•          Experience with ABAP is a must

•          Experience with BPC or similar planning tool is highly desirable

•          Experience with BWA is desired

•          Understanding of BW Authorization Concepts is a plus

•          SAP ECC experience is beneficial. 

•          Familiarity with Project Development Lifecycle methodology a must, ASAP methodology preferred. Must have completed at least 2 full implementation life cycles.

•          Experience with financial systems and accounting would be beneficial in order to understand the complexities of the financial reporting environment and to be able to apply previous experiences to improve the existing system and processes.
