Job Description:

Responsible for:
• Design, development and implementation of Cognos TM1 models,  TurboIntegrator scripts and Active Forms as directed by DTNA Project Manager and/or Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Collection of data, data validation and presentation of analysis through Cognos TM1
• Working with SMEs and end users to capture requirements
• Ensuring adherence to DTNA BI standards and Cognos BI and TM1 best practice.

Experience of Cognos Planning / TM1 development and/or 1 or more full system development life cycles using the Cognos TM1 toolset
• Strong understanding and experience of foundational concepts related to data warehousing and business intelligence concepts
• Experienced in creating complex cube and dimension models in Cognos TM1 and including design and use of rules.
• Solid experience and understanding of TurboIntegrator scripting including feeders.
• Understands TM1 concurrency, locking and performance and approaches to address any issues of this nature
• Specific experience working with the business users to develop prototypes and proof of concepts using Cognos TM1 Active Forms and TM1 Web tools
• Able to translate business requirements into a robust technical designs
• Strong analytic, problem solving and consulting skills
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable interacting with clients & stakeholders.
• Implementation of security in the Cognos environment is beneficial
• Experience in MS SQL Server and related skills are desirable.
• Familiarity with IBM Cognos 8 BI platform is preferred.
• IBM Cognos TM1 Developer COG310 certification desirable.
