Job Title: Release Manager/System Manager
Location : Alviso, CA
Rate : Market
Duration: 6+ Months

Responsibilities:
Management of IT Ops and Apps PIPs

• Document and maintain the release plan

• Communications to stakeholders and partner managers

• Coordination of resources needed for the change

• Communication and coordination during the PIP Start/stop notifications

Emergency PIP management

• Communications to stakeholders and partner managers

• Coordination of resources needed for the change

• Communication and coordination during the PIP

• Start/stop notifications

Roadmap management

• Maintain the roadmap with input from IT leads and PMs

• Identify overlaps and conflicts

CAB meetings

• Slide preparation for IT Apps and IT Ops releases

• Metrics gathering and presentation

• Own the charter of the CAB. Provide documentation on the agenda, attendees and purpose.

OBIEE reports

• Process management (Group creation, monthly release process, etc.)

• Define and document processes

• Identify gaps in the process and make improvements

• Communications to stakeholders and partner managers

• Coordination of resources needed for the change

• Communication and coordination during the PIP

• Start/stop notifications where required

Experience/Skills/Tools:

• Experience with Perforce, SVN or any kind of version control systems. Perforce is preferred

• Experience with Maven, MS Build, ANT.  Should have experience in Maven and MS Build

• Scripting knowledge in Shell (Unix/Dos), perl and python.  Shell scripting a must.

• Experience with Continous Integration tools like Hudson, Criuse Control, Teamcity, Anthillpro.  Anthillpro is a plus.

• Experience in MySQL, Oracle DB is a plus

• Experience with Tomcat, Weblogic, Mule and apache http.

• Experience with automating build and deployment is a plus.

• Should have knowledge on branching and merging in VCS.

• Experience with Bugzilla is a plus (both as user and admin)

• Experience with OBIEE is a plus.

• Experience with SONAR, SOAP UI, Code collab is a plus
