ETL Architect

Job Description:
Minimum 10+ Yrs of experience in Microsoft SSIS developer with experience in BI / DW environments.
Performs in depth systems analysis on existing reports, programming code, and ETL packages. Has experience with relational and data warehouse structures both OLAP and dimensional.
Provides input and recommendations on technical issues to the financial systems architect.
Participates in collaborating with business users on requirements, objectives and measures.
Documents technical design and implementation as well as any operation support plans.
Participates in testing of the data design, tool design, data extracts/transforms, etc.
Develop an understanding of clients' business and suggest effective programming solutions.
Translate business needs into technical and system design specifications. Validate data in the database.
The ETL developer must have knowledge of populating Kimball Star Schemas with Type 2 and 3 Slowly changing dimennsions, Surrogate keys and populating snap shot tables.
The ETL developer must implementing data quatlity business rules and exception error handling within the ETL.
Integrating with Web services
Ability to design the scheduling of jobs etc.
