JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Location : Oakland, CA

 

Responsibilities:

·         Develop ETL code using SSSIS and T-SQL or other industry standard Data Integration tools.

·         Develop and support reports using T-SQL, SQL reporting services and / or industry standard reporting tools.

·         Develop stored procedures, database triggers and complex SQL queries

·         Perform Data Modeling, Data Quality checks, Data Profiling, etc.

·         Create logical and physical Data Models and Entity Relationship Diagrams..

·         Create logical and physical Data Models and Entity Relationship Diagrams..

·         Performance tune databases and SQL statements.

·         Perform source system data analysis.

·         Proactively monitor development, test and production class database servers.

·         Work with business users in identifying and refining business requirements.

·         Discuss business reporting and analysis requirements with customers.

Required Experience:

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

·         Minimum 8 years of Software Engineering or IT experience

·         Prior software quality assurance work experience desirable.

·         Minimum  6 years of ETL and reporting experience using SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL, SQL, etc.

·         Minimum 4 years of Data Modeling and Data Architecture experience.

Professional Skills:

·         Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.

·         Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

·         Strong written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectives.
