Description
The Application Lead position will be part of an Agile software team focused on working closely with clients and other stakeholders. A qualified candidate will work with the Architects, Principal Engineers and the Business Community to identify requirements and develop solutions
Requirements:
At least 3 years experience leading development teams
At least 5 years of object oriented programming experience in Java and J2EE
At least 5 years experience with SOA (web services) implementations using Weblogic application server
At least 5 years experience with Web Service technologies such as Apache Axis, SOAP and WSD
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming design patterns and methodologies
Expertise in both client side and server side technology stacks in a J2EE setting
Hands-on experience with writing and maintaining Unix shell scripts
Familiar with source code control and versioning concepts
Knowledge of RDBMS systems (Oracle) and an understanding of data structures, data normalization, and query performance considerations
Familiar with SQL (PL/SQL a plus)
