 Position: Reporter  Developer

 Duration: 1+ Year

 Location : Atlanta,GA

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       This individual will be responsible for the successful design, development, and integration of reports / dashboards within the Microsoft Reporting Services 2008 framework and perform user-driven design, optimized stored procedure and report / dashboard development & unit testing of reports and dashboard applications

·        Participate in a team performing SCRUM methodology

 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

Required

·       At least three years of experience in a developer role developing reports / dashboards utilizing Microsoft Reporting Services 2005/2008 environment and at least 5 years of report and SQL query development experience in a business and technical environment

·       Technical skills must include Microsoft Reporting Services, T-SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedure creation and Microsoft Visual Studio / Microsoft Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) experience

·       Advanced knowledge in relational databases especially for SQL Server and Oracle

·       Hands-on experience in dashboard development, including those based on Microsoft technologies and competitive platforms

·        Must have worked in a Agile environment using Scrum

·       Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills

·       Undergraduate degree in computer science or related area of study. Graduate degree in similar discipline is preferred

 

Preferred

·       Expert level knowledge in at least one of the following Windows technology areas is preferred: SQL Server 2005/2008 T-SQL, Microsoft Reporting Services 2005/2008

·       Experience developing data warehouse ETL packages utilizing Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services

·       Experience with industry leading business intelligence tools and/or technologies, particularly in a data warehouse environment (based on dimensional data modeling techniques)
