Position Title : Business Analyst (at least 10 yrs exp.)
Location : Columbus, OH
Duration : 6 – 12 Months
Job Description:
Over 10 years of working in financial industry, preferably on risk management related projects.
Knowledge of financial products like securities, commodities, and derivatives is necessary.
· Document requirements (data, SLA, business purpose, high level technical).
· Map data requirements to data sources.
· Assist/liaise with development teams in Design and Development to ensure requirements understood.
· Design test procedures, maintenance procedures and configurations.
· Create detailed Test Plans and Test cases for testing defined processes, screen flows, and components.
· Create Data Test Bed for testing of the defined processes, screen flows, and components.
· Works with development team to analyze and resolve defects.
· Ability to analyze the process, to decompose it into components, to discover causal relationships, to describe in details various scenarios and their outcome is mandatory.
· Clear written and oral communication skills working with business, technology, and operate partners are very important.
· Knowledge of requirement gathering techniques, processes, and tools is necessary.
· Knowledge of testing methodologies and defect management systems is mandatory; JIRA is preferred.
· Experience in writing functional and technical specifications is critical.
· Knowledge of data modeling principles and working knowledge of SQL is mandatory.
· Working experience in interviewing stakeholders and facilitating meetings is mandatory.
