We are in need of 8  Web Designer roles in   Seattle , WA .. These are  12+  month contracts. Rate is $  Open  hr    per hour

 

Our Client is looking for a talented and motivated web designer to join the User Experience Team.  In this position, you will be working within a team of UX researchers, UX designers, and Visual designers to evolve the enterprise applications used by retail representatives, call center agents, and third party dealers. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to help build out user experience as a solid part of the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

 

·         Development of innovative interface designs and screen layouts for software applications

·         Collaborate with UX architects and other visual designers to produce comps, redlines, design specifications, style guides, UI element libraries, and prototypes

·         Deliver fully functional, production quality HTML5 and CSS3 ready to be consumed by development teams

·         Educate peers on web standards and latest trends

 

Qualifications / Skills:

 

·         Bachelor's degree in web development, graphic design, industrial design, or related field

·         Must have 2-5 years' experience with HTML and CSS with experience in HTML5 and CSS3

·         Must have 2 years' experience working with a production web environment with a preference toward internal facing enterprise applications

·         Voracious appetite for web design trends and standards.  Must have knowledge of both cutting edge and proven design methods

·         Ability to work collaboratively with team, handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and proficiency with time management

·         Experience creating clickable prototypes in support of user research

·         High energy and positive attitude

·         Able to successfully write, speak and illustrate conceptual ideas, detailed design, web standards and design rationale

·         Experience in JavaScript is preferred

·         A strong online portfolio
