Position Title: IT Analyst - Java IPOS Integration

Duties: Functions as an integral member of the team working on complex international store applications and maintains comprehensive responsibility for and leads complex store system projects, including estimating requirements, designing systems, managing changes/modifications for specific software products, and helping develop solutions. Responsible for application design/analysis, development of project plans, coding, testing, and documentation of all code; interfacing with clients to assist in the project process; and providing development support for international store applications. Codes, debugs and tests application programs utilizing JAVA and web based programming tools that integrate sales and hierarchy information with Oracle ERP systems; interacts with and performance tune multi-tiered application systems; uses new software and programming techniques as they are required or adapted in IT; acquires and maintains additional technical skills for professional development; works with all levels of the business and the development team to establish, promote, and enforce architectural guidelines as well as assist in the implementation and problem resolution of existing applications and requests; and ensures work meets functionality and quality expectations within given timelines
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or IT related or engineering field. Must have five years of progressive experience in application development, using Java, Struts Framework, Hibernate, Application servers (including IBM WebSphere and Weblogic), and RDMS (including Oracle 8i-11g and DB2). (In the alternative, will accept a Master's degree in one of the above fields and 3 years experience in application development using the above technologies.) Must have experience in a retail environment and SDLC experience with Eclipse, RAD, CVS, SVN, Maven, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Spring Framework, Visual Source Safe, Unix, TOAD, DB Visualizer, and Linux. Must be able to work on fast-paced international projects and excel under pressure; command the attention and respect of highly technical associates; and navigate technical issues and evaluate risk. Must have demonstrated track record of successful system and project implementations; excellent organization skills; ability to prioritize and manage a variety of complex projects and activities; and strong problem solving, analysis, design and testing skills.
Note: For H1b's, they will process GC after 12 Months.
