Java Developer for our client in New York City.   

 Duration: 6 months +

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• More than 8 years of experience

• Can complete complex program changes to translate specifications and / or requirements into code.

• Applies application specific technical skills to independently produce deliverables (i.e. specifications, program changes, unit test scripts, documentation, etc.).

• Plans, documents, and executes unit test plans to ensure all code changes meet requirements / specifications.

• Must have very strong database and SQL skills - will be working with complex databases (normalized models, 100's of tables).  Must be able to read complex data models or ERD diagrams

• Must have experience with a version control tool and know how to merge conflicting changes

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Strong Java / J2EE skills

2. Very good communication skills

3. Strong Analytical skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Experience with Hibernate, JBOSS, JUnit, Oracle and Weblogic

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES: Java code with oracle backend scripts
