Requirements :

 

Description:

 

·         Perform as Ab Initio ETL Specialist on software development projects with responsibility for overall design, development and deployment of ETL software components.

·         Participate in architectural decisions, technical design and implementation of application systems.

·         Work with architects, analysts, development team, and testing to implement enhancements or new applications.

·         Ensures coding, unit and/or system testing, and documents changes are aligned with the desired results.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Provides technical consulting to other development team members.

·         Responsible for detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.

·         Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.

·         Participates in architectural decisions, technical design of application systems.

·         Resonsible for systems designs and development utilizing standard procedures and techniques.

·         Interfaces with other system designers to design and implement application programs.

·         Participates in post-implementation reviews of both application development content and process to maximize and share learning.

·         Responsible for troubleshooting and correcting production issues.

·         Ensures software component delivery timelines, quality, budget and architectural alignment.

·         Ensures application design is architecturally aligned.

·         Directy responsible for deliverables code and documentation.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

·         Bachelors Degree 5 years of experience in IT Development and Support 3 Years experience in Application Design & Development using ETL, SQL, and Unix Scripting

·         3 year hands-on experience using Ab Initio

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

·         Experience with the Teradata and/or DB2 database platforms and MVS/Cobol Experience with the Agile delivery methodology.

·         Strong communication skills Experience in global delivery methodology.

·         Experience in designing and developing complex datawarehouse applications.
